My Name Is Gita is a co-produced music video by myself (lyrics) and Christ Masand (well-known Bollywood composer). We wrote and produced the piece to detail the horrors of girl trafficking in Nepal. I lived there for 2 years and worked with local doctors and healthcare professionals to set up a safe house and rescue girls. Music and video production can make a tremendous difference in communicating public service needs.
